Brief Overview of the Lesson:

In pairs, or on their own, students will brainstorm how to make a nutritious lunch for $4.00. They will complete a supermarket shopping list of the items they will need.

  • The teacher will need to make copies of the supermarket shopping list before the period begins.

  • The teacher may bring in a sample nutritious lunch as an example to look at before the students fill in their shopping list.
